First Waco Kids' Kastle & Preschool

Learning sure is fun at Kids’ Kastle Preschool!! Last week was all about the letter T and ended with a very special visit from a tractor! 🚜

🍂 With the Fall temps finally headed our way, we plan to be doing lots of playing and smiling outside this week!🍂

Bringing the stories of the Bible to life in a fun and interactive way is one of our favorite classroom activities! Mrs. Rocio’s 2s class loved learning about Noah’s Ark with her felt storyboard! 🦛🌈🐅🌧️

"L" is for lemonade! Our Pre-K 4 students spent last week learning all about the letter L 🤩 To celebrate all they learned, they finished the week with making fresh-squeezed lemonade and selling it around the church! 🍋

Fun in the Classroom 🎨🍎 This week our 2s class worked on creating new colors by mixing paint in applesauce! This was such a fun (and tasty) lesson for our kids! It's so fun watching them learn and experience new things!

Chapel with our campus pastors is one of the greatest blessings to our program! Having this dedicated time to focus on learning about the stories of the Bible and the love Jesus has for us is some of our best times each week! We are so grateful to our pastors for carving out intentional time to pour into our children!

No better way to end the month than a sweet treat for our sweet teachers! The Hospitality Committee dropped off Frostys today to both campuses for a mid-day treat! 🍨

Pouring into our students through the Word of God is the number one priority of our program! Spending each week focused on a new bible story allows us to share the amazing stories of the bible with even our smallest children. First Waco believes more than anything that kids matter to God! 🩵

We know our teachers do so much for this program every single day! Our Hospitality Committee works to ensure we can celebrate their hard work each month as a way to say thank you! A very bittersweet announcement:

As of Monday, Lindsey Fox has accepted a position within China Spring Primary School. She looks forward to starting this new chapter at the same school district as her kids. Ashton Wyatt has decided to transition to a full-time stay at home mom. She is excited to soak up this season of life with her babies.

Both of these ladies were a vital part of our First Kids’ Kastle administration team. We know the lasting impression they have left on so many throughout their years at our Downtown campus. While we are very sad to see them go, we wish them nothing but the best in these new chapters of their lives! 🩵
