I’ve got an announcement for y’all. Last month I got to interview for a position as a research assistant with the Mind-Body Medicine Research Lab at Baylor University here in Waco. It’s pleasure to work with an organization with such strong ties to this town’s history and growth. Now I’m a few weeks into the job and I’m really enjoying this opportunity. I’ve been working on connecting the Waco community to information about our on-going studies as we look for interested individuals.

I’m excited for what the future will bring! And don’t worry, it’s part time so I will still have time for my guitar lessons!
P.S. they mixed up my first and last name, but it has been fixed since.

El mes pasado tuve una entrevista para un puesto como asistente de investigación en el Mind-Body Medicine Research Laboratory en la Universidad de Baylor aquí en Waco. Es un placer trabajar con una organización tan conectada con la historia y el crecimiento de esta ciudad. Ahora llevo algunas semanas en el trabajo y realmente estoy disfrutando esta oportunidad. He estado trabajando para conectar a la comunidad de Waco con información sobre nuestros estudios en curso mientras buscamos personas interesadas.

¡Estoy emocionado por lo que traerá el futuro! Y no se preocupen, es part-time, así que todavía tendré tiempo para mis lecciones de guitarra!

Along with guitar lessons I also officiate soccer games when I can get my hands on the opportunity. Currently H.O.T. is in off-season but in the mean time I'll be officiating for this wonderful organization. It's an adult recreation and social league for 21+, men & women, and it's here in town. Sign ups close SATURDAY.

Junto con mis lecciones de guitarra, también soy oficial de partidos de fútbol cuando encuentro la oportunidad. Actualmente H.O.T. está fuera de temporada, pero mientras tanto estaré oficiando para esta maravillosa organización. Es una liga social y recreativa para adultos mayores de 21 años, hombres y mujeres, y está aquí en Waco. Las inscripciones cierran el SÁBADO.

Our 5v5 Soccer sign ups close Saturday! We are still in need of some women to round out our numbers and would love to see you on the field.
