Our next senior spotlight is our Student Council president Lilly Rose!! Lilly has been in STUCO for four years, and served as president this year and secretary her junior year. Outside of STUCO she is president of 4H Club, treasurer of NHS, historian of Waco Youth Council, a member of Upward Bound, and part of both the band and jazz band. She is an Academic Achiever, AP Scholar, and a UT Terry Scholar. After high school she plans to attend University of Texas at Austin and major in environmental science. Lilly thank you for all your hard work! STUCO is so proud of you and can’t wait to see what you do next!!

Our next senior spotlight is Maria Carrillo!! Maria has been in STUCO in one year. Outside of STUCO she is a part of JROTC, HOSA, NHS, Spanish club, and Navegando. She is also an Academic Achiever! After high school she plans to attend McLennan Community College then transfer to Tarleton to major in nursing. Maria, thank you for all your hard work! STUCO can’t wait to see what you do next!! 🦁

Our next senior spotlight is Maximiliano Zepeda!! Max has been in STUCO for four years. Outside of STUCO, he is in NHS, JROTC, AVID, Waco Youth Council, and is on the golf team. He is an Academic Achiever, AP Scholar, has won 3rd place in the Junior Varsity Cedar Creek Boys Invitational, and was given the JROTC certificate of excellence as well as the JROTC Texas A&M award. After high school he plans to attend Texas A&M for computer science. Max, thank you for all your hard work! STUCO can’t wait to see what you do next!!

Our next senior spotlight is Amorie Robertson!! Amorie has been in STUCO for three years. Outside of STUCO she is involved in Teen Advisory, Recycling club, and Yearbook club. After high school she plans to attend Tarleton State University to major in wildlife, sustainability, and ecosystem sciences to become a wildlife conservationist. Amorie, thank you for all your hard work! STUCO can’t wait to see what you do next!!

Our next senior spotlight is Valeria Quintana!! Valeria has been in STUCO for 1 year. Outside of STUCO she’s a part of band, NHS, Interact Club, Upward Bound, Speech and Debate, and 4-H. She is an Academic Achiever, Superintendent Scholar, CX Debate State Qualifier, 4-H State Qualifier, and has received College Board National First Generation Recognition! After high school, she plans to attend Texas A&M University and major in Biomedical Sciences to become a dermatologist. Valeria, thank you for all your hard work. STUCO is so proud of you and can’t wait to see what you do next!! 🦁

Our next senior spotlight is Marcantonio Gaytan!! Marc has been in STUCO for two years. Outside of STUCO he plays varsity tennis. He has received College Board recognition as well as first place in boys doubles A at the Waco ISD Winter Blast tennis tournament! After high school he plans to attend University of Texas at Arlington and major in business and management. Marc, thank you for all your hard work. STUCO can’t wait to see what you do next!! 🦁

Our next senior spotlight is Neiba Picazo!! Neiba has been in STUCO for four years, and served as our secretary this past year. Outside of STUCO she’s a part of Upward Bound, Yearbook Club, Recycling Club, and Interact Club! After high school she plans on attending University of Texas at Austin for public health. Neiba, thank you for all your hard work! STUCO can’t wait to see what you do next!!

Our next senior spotlight is Daniella Mercado!! Daniella has been in STUCO for four years. Outside of STUCO she is the senior class president, founder and president of the Recycling Club, president of Upward Bound, treasurer of Interact Club, and participates in debate and LEAD. She is an Academic Achiever, AP Scholar with distinction, and a Gates Scholar! After high school, she plans on attending Harvard University and majoring in economics pre-law to become a lawyer. Our next senior spotlight is Judith Alvarez!! Judith has been in STUCO for one year. Outside of STUCO she is a part of the Yearbook Club, Superintendent Student Advisory Course, AVID, and class government. After high school she plans to attend McLennan Community College and transfer to Texas Tech! She will be majoring in mass communications and minoring in photography.
