Principal Krych was asked to check out what is happening in these classrooms. 5th grade is making a Jenga block set for our silent auction at the fall festival, 4th grade was making folders for their class dojo points, and 2nd grade was learning less than/greater than. Keep up the good work St. Felix students!!

First day of school today for our St. Felix students and staff!!

Tradition continued at St.Felix as students lined up for their first day picture in front of the bell. Students began their day in the auditorium and lined up ready to go learn. Students this morning were being attentive, engaged, and being interactive as they learned procedures/prayer/mission of our school.

Today after morning Mass, our teachers and staff participated in a Eucharistic procession and blessing of the school grounds, led by Fr. Tom. Please pray for our teachers, students, staff, and families as they begin this new school year, that their hearts may be open to what the Holy Spirit has to share with them this year. We can't wait to see many of our families tonight at the school's Open House!

LESS THAN 24 HOURS UNTIL OPEN HOUSE!!!

Welcome to Bumblebee News for some reminders.

1. Open House is tomorrow August 25th from 5-7 pm. Come and meet your teachers, staff, and principal. Hotdogs and chips will be provided. Bring items for fall festival for the cleaning cart, grocery cart, and tootsie roll prizes. Scrip will also be available for purchase.

2. God Kids afterschool applications are being accepted and available now online. Applications will also be available at open house.

3. We are still looking for a Gods Kids program director. Please reach out to Principal Krych at [email protected]

4. A reminder we have Parent Drive days for Aug. 27, 28, 31, and Sept. 1 and 2.

5. Start your school year with the school mass for all students and families on August 26 at 700 pm.

A heartfelt thank you to our St. Felix Catholic school family and the communities of Wabasha/Kellogg for generously giving of their time, energy, tools, and equipment for the outside cleanup project. Your willingness to pitch in, get your hands dirty, and care for our school grounds is truly a sign of serving as God’s Children. Our grounds look truly amazing and have been transformed.

St. Felix Mascot “Bumblebee” wanted to give 2 updates.

1. Thanks for all those who showed interest in the 2nd grade teacher position. We have filled that position with Beth Scrimshaw.

2. We have moved the school clean up to Thursday Aug. 20 5-7 instead of Wednesday Aug 19.
