ions are represented in our school. Bernard School fosters a spiritual, academic, physical, social, and emotional climate where children can grow to their maximum capabilities. We pride ourselves on being a partnership between students, faculty, staff, parents, and parish to teach Christian values and enrich the curriculum so that every child has the opportunity to excel. Bernard School's focus is on academic excellence through a Christian-based education with an emphasis on foreign language instruction beginning in the Pre-K years. No other school in the area offers foreign language instruction as early and as extensively as we do. We have a history of high academic excellence with ISTEP/ILEARN scores in the top 10% in the state. Our school has had a continual "A" or "B" rating by the Indiana State Department of Education for the last 15 years. We have achieved a "Four-Star" school status from the state of Indiana and were awarded the top school out of 43 schools in the diocese. We are proud that we have students of all nationalities and religious backgrounds and offer a safe environment where religious diversity is embraced. We maintain a small operating budget through parent volunteers and offer ample scholarship opportunities so that all income levels may enjoy the benefits of private school education and the advantages of socializing with peers of various socioeconomic backgrounds. Our goal is that every child can reach their full potential through exploring diversity and by serving in the community around them to prepare them to be the future leaders of tomorrow.

What a wonderful way to wrap up the school year! 🎒 Today was filled with so many special memories — celebrating our students at Awards Day, enjoying Domino’s pizza and Kona Ice for lunch, cheering on our 6th graders as they prepare for their next adventure, and ending the day with so much fun at the carnival! 🎪

A huge thank you goes out to Mrs. Clark for all of her hard work in making the carnival so special, to our incredible teachers and staff for everything they do for our students each and every day, and to all of the amazing parent volunteers who gave their time, donated, helped organize, and showed up for our students. Days like today would not be possible without your support, and we are so grateful!

To our 6th graders — we are so proud of each of you. As you head off to middle school, remember that you are capable of incredible things. Keep working hard, stay kind, believe in yourselves, and never forget how loved and supported you are. We cannot wait to see all that you accomplish in this next chapter.
