A big thanks to our Northfield Seniors that attended the Grow Wabash County Honors Luncheon today at the Honeywell Center. These students represent the top 20% of their graduating class. Thanks to each of them for attending today, and we wish all the seniors luck as they finish up the remaining weeks of the school year.

Spiking for a Cause!
Today was a great day at Northfield! Our intramural volleyball team was proud to present a check for $675.99 to Mrs. Shoue, with all proceeds going directly to FISH.
Huge thanks to everyone who came out, played hard, and donated to support such a vital cause in our community. Way to go, Norse!

Our 8th graders traded the classroom for the "real world" today at Finance Park! 📈 They spent the day managing salaries, paying bills, and learning the ropes of financial responsibility. We are so grateful to the staff and volunteers who helped make this invaluable experience possible for our students.

Our Norse Honor Students of the Week are Easton Haupert and Kyra Aderman. Easton for being such a great classmate and helping out the teacher and Kyra for being willing to put in extra time and effort on SAT review. Keep up the awesome work!

Scholastics Art and Writing announced their National Award Winners yesterday afternoon, and the Northfield Visual Art Department was represented. The Northfield Art Department did well this year winning a NATIONAL SILVER MEDAL in the 2026 Scholastics Art and Writing Competition! Jackson Mercer was awarded a National Silver Medal for his piece "Glistening Perspiration".
More than 110,000 students submitted more than 335,000 works of art and writing to the 2026 Scholastic Art and Writing Competition. These pieces were selected by some of the foremost leaders in the visual and literary arts for excellence in originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision. Less than 1,200 works were recognized at the National level, which places Jackson within the top 1% of all submissions!

A huge shoutout to our Junior High Academic Super Bowl team! Tonight, these students braved the stage for our first competition in years. They stepped up to the challenge, represented us with pride, and showed incredible grit.

Mr. Sincroft took some English students to Story Con at Huntington University today They listened to presentations from author Rachel Linden and Shari Wagner (former poet laureate of Indiana). They used tips from these speakers to polish and present their own works of creative writing.
