Counting Together helps people develop the crucial math skills of Addition and Subitizing. Subitizing is the ability to recognize a certain number of objects without counting. For example, you may look at a table and instantly see four chairs surrounding the table

. But another person may need to count the chairs or use their fingers. It is believed that this skill is one of the fundamental building blocks in not only math, but reading as well.
