Our teachers are back in the building, and we couldn’t be happier! There’s something so special about having our team together again - learning, growing, collaborating, and preparing to welcome our students back to KBA.

The KBA faculty was thrilled to kick off a new school year together learning with the renowned author & educator Michael Brandwein, who inspired our faculty and shared extraordinary strategies for helping our students grow, thrive, and become their very best selves.

Just a few more days until our hallways are filled with our students again. We’ve loved being back together and can’t wait for another KBAWESOME year ahead!

Last night, we celebrated our incredible 8th grade graduates with a beautiful graduation filled with so much joy, pride, lots of laughter, and love. 💙

Each and every graduate was honored for the unique mark they have made on our KBA community during their time here. Watching this extraordinary class cross the stage was a reminder not only of how much they have grown, but also of just how deeply loved they are by our faculty, staff, classmates, families and eachother.

We are so excited to see all that lies ahead for them and they know they will always have a home here at KBA. Mazel tov to the Class of 2026! 🎓✨

KBA celebrated the inaugural graduation of the Jewish Leadership Academy (JLA), honoring our 8th grade students who have spent the past three years exploring what it means to lead with purpose, responsibility, and Jewish values. Surrounded by parents, mentors, community leaders, and supporters, students reflected on their leadership journeys and presented capstone projects developed through their partnership with the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey. We are incredibly proud of our graduates and grateful to the mentors and colleagues from the Jewish Federation who helped guide them along the way. Mazal tov to our first JLA graduating class—we cannot wait to see the impact you will make in high school, the Jewish community, and beyond!

At KBA, we believe that creativity, innovation, and confident communication are essential parts of a well-rounded education and our 5th graders truly brought all three to life!

Our students brought history to life as they transformed into famous historical figures and shared what they learned through engaging presentations. Their hard work, knowledge, and confidence were on full display for families, friends, and staff to enjoy.

Students also incorporated STEM by designing and building circuit buttons in our JSTEM Lab, adding an interactive element that literally helped their characters come to life! 💡

We are so proud of the hard work, creativity, and dedication our 5th graders displayed throughout this project. Thank you to all the families who joined us in celebrating their learning!

Today, we welcomed our KBA Class of 2026 alumni high school graduates back home for a very special clap out! 💙

Our students lined the hallways, cheering on these incredible graduates as they walked through the place where so much of their journey began.

No matter where life takes them, they know they will always have a home here at KBA and we cannot wait to see all the amazing things they will accomplish. We are so proud of each and every one of them!

What a storybook ending to an incredible year of reading! 📚✨ Our second graders celebrated their Book Club journey with Storybook Character Dress-Up Day, bringing beloved characters from their favorite books, and even their own fractured fairy tales, to life. From walking the red carpet to sharing their love of reading with friends and even “eating a book,” the day was filled with creativity, excitement, and joy. We are so proud of the readers, writers, and storytellers they have become this year!

As the school year comes to a close, we are celebrating the many accomplishments that have made this year so meaningful. Our 23rd Annual Gala was filled with love, pride, and appreciation for our incredible KBA community, and we are especially excited that this year’s 8th grade class will become the first students to officially graduate from the Jewish Leadership Academy. We are grateful to do this work in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey.
