POORANEE THANJAVUR RAMESH (07/16/1994) - An Indian classical *Bharatanatyam dancer* and versatile performer one who started learning dance from the age of 6 and performed in many places include (Bridgewater Venkateswara temple, Guruvayoorappan temple-Morganville, Sai Datta Peetam-Edison, Mahalakshmi Temple - Delaware) and achieved many trophies and participated in *World Record*, *Guinness Record*. She has done her masters in commerce field and completed bachelor’s degree in Bharatanatyam dance. Apart from Bharatanatyam, she also does folk, western and Bollywood dances. Her other interests also include handcrafts, drawing, and artwork (Crafting, Stitching, Drawing, judging, Mehndi, Make-up, Hair stylist & Model). She has performed in the 64th Republic Day celebration organized by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 2013. She has awarded with the *KALAI THILAGAM* title by “All India Entwined Fine Arts Group” in 2023. She has participated in Brahan Natyanjali –International Dance Festival at the Big Temple, Thanjavur in 2018. She received the *WOMEN APPRECIATION AWARD* from SCA, NJ, USA - for her selfless service to the community through her art and talent. She is associated with Bridge Academy - college for Music & Fine arts, India. She is a Pioneer Classical Bharatanatyam Performer in Dulhan Expo (20 Years in History) – Tri State Expo in PA, USA. She has been awarded as “Best Choreographer” by Business NJ, USA. She was representing Indian culture at Diwali Festival - 2023 in American School, NJ, USA. Being a passionate dancer, she wanted to establish our Indian culture through her talent wherever she appears. She won the Pageant title - Mrs.Bharat Petite New Jersey 2024. She was honored at TNF Women’s day Celebration (NY) for her service and dedication to art and culture and for her achievements. She was invited to attend White House event on WHIAANHPI. Her Vision - “Women are born to succeed. Real talents are being accepted everywhere. Think out of the box and get succeeded”.
