The Florida A&M University National Alumni Association (NAA), a non-profit organization, incorporated since 1967 under the laws of the State of Florida, was established to serve its alumni and the University, to actively promote the interest of Florida A&M University as an institution of higher learning, research and public service, to focus on the educational needs of all Americans to support cul

tural diversity and equal access to a quality education at Florida A&M University. The NAA works to stimulate interest in the University among students, former students, graduates, family and friends of FAMU, corporate partners, and others while providing financial, moral and political support. The role of the FAMU NAA is to be a support organization of Florida A& M University by:

Serving as an official alumni organization for raising and/or collecting funds for FAMU. Encouraging alumni chapters, individual alumni and friends to support all programs which promote the best interest of FAMU. Enhancing the image of FAMU through positive public relations and community service. Influencing legislative support of the University’s priorities through frequent consultation with legislators.

Our new and returning students are about to begin another exciting year, and what better way to show them the strength of the Rattler family than by coming out to cheer them on! 💚🧡

We’re inviting all local alumni to join us as we welcome our students back and send them off with encouragement, wisdom, and that unstoppable Rattler spirit. Your presence shows our students that once you’re a Rattler, you’re Always a Rattler.
