📸✨ That’s a wrap on our first quarter here at North County Trade Tech High School! ✨📸

What a quarter it’s been! From adventures beyond the classroom to hands-on learning, new experiences, and after-school fun, our students have been making the most of every opportunity!

🌟 We celebrated our first Rising Star!

🎲 After-School Clubs: Designing original characters in tabletop gaming, casting lines with Fishing Club, and bringing the competition in esports!

🦁 Field Trip Adventures: Our students in science were able to visit the Safari Park. ENG 11+12 students headed to the Old Globe Theatre to see the musical Begin Again, hear from the actors afterward, and even participate in a special workshop led by Old Globe staff!

⚽ Team Spirit: Our soccer team has been putting in the work and seeing some great results!

🥾 Outdoor Exploration: Our Outdoor Club has already hit the trails for some incredible hikes!

💡 Creative Learning: Students have been bringing their ideas to life in the classroom, including designing and making their own LED signs using 3D printing!

At Trade Tech, learning goes beyond textbooks and traditional classrooms. We believe in giving students opportunities to explore their interests, build meaningful connections, develop new skills, and discover what they’re capable of.

We’re so proud of everything our students and staff have accomplished in our first quarter, and we can’t wait to see what the next one brings! ❤️

🏴‍☠️ FIND YOUR CREW! ⚓️ | CLUBS AT TRADE TECH

We’ve already had our first assembly of the year! 🎉 Teachers and mentors shared some of the awesome programs and clubs available at Trade Tech, giving students a chance to discover new ways to get involved and find their crew.

We even had a game intermission where teams from each grade level competed against each other! 🏆 The goal? Start building that fun, connection, and camaraderie that makes our school community special. 💙

Now it’s time to keep the momentum going and find your club! 🎮🎬🎣🎵🪚

It’s been one week since our seniors graduated, and we miss them already!

To send them off to bigger and better things, they had a jam-packed week of senior activities, followed by a beautiful graduation ceremony, and finally a full-on Grad Night at Universal Studios.

For Senior Activities Week, they hit the beach, spent a day at Dave & Buster’s, and enjoyed a special senior breakfast together.

At graduation, we heard from staff and numerous students, including three Spirit of Trade Tech recipients, two Salutatorians, and our Valedictorian.

We’ll be thinking of them wherever they go, and can’t wait to hear about how they make the most of this world!

🎉 End of Year Awards Assembly – What a Celebration! 🎉

Today we took time to celebrate YOU and all the amazing things happening across campus!

Here’s what made it special:
- Scholarships: Several seniors received awards from our generous community organizations to help launch their next chapter.
- Student Awards: Recognition for attendance, GPA, sports contributions, and success across multiple subjects.
- Teacher Awards: Each teacher handed out paper awards and a plaque to the students who shined brightest in their class.
- Grade-Level Honors: One student per grade recognized for Academic Achievement and one for Citizenship. 12th grade also crowned the overall “Rockstar” Award winner!

We kicked things off with live music from our student group, heard heartfelt speeches from teachers, and felt the energy as students cheered each other on the whole time.

So proud of this crew and the way they lift each other up. Here’s to all your hard work! 💚

Get ready for the next round of world changers! 🌎✨🤩

Our students delivered an amazing Night of Excellence last night! They flexed their entrepreneurial skills and showed what it looks like to develop a product, service, or innovation in a sustainable way.

We are so excited to support our students as they pursue their dreams while thinking about the planet, people, and profit.

Their projects covered an impressive range: music, baking, barbering, health, environmentalism, social services, construction, manufacturing, and more.
