Sweet little Georgie may be tiny, but there is an awful lot packed into that little package! Smart, enthusiastic, confident and always ready to learn, she never missed a class—and brought a smile to our faces at every single one.

What an absolute joy she was to have in class. We can only imagine the places she'll go, the things she'll learn, and all the hearts she'll melt along the way.

Congratulations, Georgie! Tiny, but mighty indeed. 💛🐾

Happy Birthday, Kate! 🎉🐾

Some people have a remarkable gift for seeing a dog~not just the behavior in front of them, but the dog underneath it. Kate is one of those people.

She can spot the smallest shift in body language, find the lesson hidden inside a problem, and somehow translate it all for the human standing at the other end of the leash. And quite often, somewhere along the way, the dog and their person begin to understand each other just a little better.

That's where the magic happens.🪄

Because training isn't really just about teaching a dog to sit, stay, come, or walk nicely on a leash. At its best, it's about helping people discover who their dog really is~and building the kind of relationship where both of them can become their best selves.
Kate has spent years and years doing exactly that for countless dogs and their people...with an extraordinary amount of knowledge, curiosity, humor, patience~and probably several metric tons of treats. 😁

Thank you, Kate, for sharing your knowledge so generously, for helping us see what our dogs are trying to tell us, and for teaching us how to become better partners to the dogs we love. 🙏🐕🫶

Happy Birthday, to a very gifted dog decoder! Here's to another year of finding the magic in every dog and helping their humans see it, too. ❤️🐾

There was something especially sweet about this Basic class. 💛 Each dog completely unique in their own delightful way — a little shy at times, incredibly bright, and every bit as adorable as they look. And their humans were pretty wonderful too. 😊

This group always had its own easygoing, almost zen little vibe. We learned, laughed, worked through questions and watched these dogs grow more confident and capable along the way.

A few classmates had to miss graduation day, but we still celebrated properly with Brain Games, a little Q&A and plenty of training laughs.

Congratulations to our newest Basic graduates! 🎓🐾 We're so proud of you!

The face you make when you realize you guessed the right answer. 😃Dogs get a dopamine boost during choosing games because figuring out a puzzle on their own engages the brain’s natural reward system. Solving the problem without being given the answer creates a sense of mastery—turning the discovery itself into part of the thrill.

And when figuring it out feels good, dogs are more likely to want to keep playing, keep thinking, keep learning, and keep trying. Learning becomes part of the fun~not just something we ask them to do. After all, training should be fun for both you and your dog.😍

Training doesn’t always have to feel like training. 🐾

A game of fetch can be a chance to practice a sit, wait, watch me or give~with another toss of the ball as the reward.

And sometimes?

Hazel just gets the ball because BALL. 😂🎾
