Prepare for an invigorating start to your Thursday morning with our upcoming meeting! We are delighted to announce a truly unique and interactive session designed to spark creativity and collaboration among our members and visitors alike.

Our agenda features not one, but two distinguished individuals who will be sharing their insights: Melissa Spiegler and our very own VP Education, Lois Somohano. Their contributions are sure to enrich our collective experience and provide valuable takeaways.

This week promises a fascinating departure from our traditional Table Topics, orchestrated by the innovative Thom Holland. He’s introducing "Chain Reaction Table Topics," a truly dynamic and spontaneous activity. Here’s how it unfolds: Thom will initiate the discussion with an opening statement. The person called upon will not only respond but will then craft the subsequent statement, passing the conversational baton to the next participant. This engaging format will continue, weaving together individual thoughts into a collective narrative. Expect the unexpected – you might find yourself contributing to the evolving story multiple times as we collaboratively construct a cohesive tale by the session's conclusion. It's a fantastic opportunity to sharpen your impromptu speaking skills and witness the magic of collective storytelling!

We had two visitors today, Jeff Brandon, and Martha Gottfield. Jeff won Best Table Topic speaker. Gemma Callander, in the upper left corner of the screen, one Best Speaker and Jennifer Barber-Frazier one Best Evaluator on the lower part of the screen. The theme was 'Books That Impacted My Life'.

Today, we had the pleasure of hearing three exceptional speakers: Thom Holland, Johnny Q. Gogue III (a guest speaker), and Chris Condo. Our meeting was skillfully led by our capable member, Marjorie Love. Rachael Ore, our new VPPR, served as the chief evaluator. The evaluators included Laura De Anda, our new President, Gemma Callander, and our new VPM, Noelle Zhang. Chris Condo emerged as the Best Speaker Award winner, while Gemma Callander was recognized as the Best Evaluator.

Our Table Topics Extravaganza meeting went very well. Everyone enjoyed the new format. We plan to do it again with the next several months. Not only was the best speaker chosen for each Table Topics session, but these three categories- funniest, most inspirational and best story. Here are the winners:

Tomorrow our meeting will be very different, no prepared speeches, just Table Topics. Two different rounds, Sean Edgar, our new Secretary, will be the first TTmaster with the theme, 'Lessons from life' and then after the break, our new President, Gemma Callander, will lead the second round with the theme, 'Change is the only constant.’ This will be a very different meeting.
