Guajome Schools offers a variety of different programs including our K-5 Guajome Park Primary Academy (GPPA), Guajome Park Academy (GPA) which include

s grades 6-8 Middle School and grades 9-12 High School and Guajome Learning Centers (GLC), an alternative independent study program for grades K-12. Guajome Park Academy is a college preparatory school designed to meet the needs of a variety of learners, with curriculum that includes an optional IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) for grades 11-12, as well as Advanced Placement courses. As a Charter School and a community of stakeholders, we are committed to seeing the benefits and value of being innovative in our approaches and interactions for planning student learning for almost two decades.

🥕 Community Food Distribution — September 2!
Guajome is hosting a food distribution event, in partnership with Feeding San Diego, this Wednesday, and all Vista community families are welcome! No registration is required—food will be available while supplies last.

Date: Wednesday, September 2
Time: 2:30–4:30 p.m.
Location: Guajome Park Academy parking lot (in front of the basketball court)

We’re also happy to welcome back PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly)! Their team will be outside the basketball court sharing information about the comprehensive medical and social services they provide for older adults. Stop by and learn more!

🛍️ Please bring reusable bags and park in the main parking lot. Please avoid the circle area during school pick-up.

Our Girls Volleyball teams brought the energy last night! Both JV and Varsity played an incredible game against the Raptors from High Tech High.

JV came up just short of the win, but our Varsity team battled through 4 sets and absolutely dominated the 4th to earn their first win of the season!🙌

Guajome students who ride a bike, e-bike, scooter, or skateboard to campus are required to complete safety training.

Join us for a FREE Safety Class on August 13 from 5:30–6:30 PM at Guajome Park Academy! Students must complete the training to meet school safety expectations for riding to campus.

We were so excited to welcome our students back to campus today for the first day of the 2026–27 school year! From first-day smiles and reunions with friends to new classes, new adventures, and plenty of school spirit, it was the perfect way to kick off a new year.

Congratulations to our middle & high school GPA students who were recognized for their hard work, perseverance, and dedication in demonstrating English language proficiency. What a great way to end the school year with an unforgettable field trip! MANA, Encuentros, and Hermanitas came together for a day filled with learning, culture, connection, and community at Chicano Park and the Museum of Us.

Students had the opportunity to learn about the rich history of the Chicano community, explore the powerful stories behind the murals, and see how art can preserve culture, inspire change, and bring people together. It was amazing to watch our students engage in meaningful conversations, ask thoughtful questions, and proudly connect with their roots and community.

Experiences like these remind us of the importance of unity, representation, and learning beyond the classroom. Thank you to everyone who helped make this trip possible and memorable for our students. ❤️
