🌈 Tips for Parents 🌈
🌙 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 🌙

At around 6 months, babies can begin developing self-soothing skills, and this is such an important step for their growth... and for your rest too. 💛

Many babies are used to falling asleep only while being rocked in arms and being picked up as soon as they wake.
But little by little, they can learn a different way.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽:

✨ Put your baby down awake but calm
✨ Stay nearby and offer comfort with your voice first
✨ Give them a moment to try settling on their own
✨ When they wake up, wait a little before intervening
✨ Use soft reassurance before picking them up

When babies always fall asleep in arms, it can be harder for them to go back to sleep on their own between sleep cycles. This may lead to more frequent wakings and more stress for everyone. 🥰
