🐷💙 Today’s meeting was one to remember as we welcomed Addysen from the Redwood Future Farmers of America (FFA)!

Addysen has a heart for animals and dreams of becoming a veterinarian someday. Until then, she’s gaining hands-on experience learning how to care for livestock and preparing her pig, Little Beef, for the Tulare County Fair this September. 🐖🌾

It takes dedication, responsibility, and a lot of hard work to raise an animal, and Addysen is a wonderful example of the incredible young leaders in our community.

We were honored to support her journey with a donation to help provide supplies for anything Little Beef may need before fair time. We can’t wait to cheer them both on in September!

This Thursday, we had the privilege of recognizing the Central Valley Vietnam Veterans for their continued support and dedication to our annual fireworks booth. We are incredibly grateful for their willingness to serve our community time and time again.

We also had the honor of presenting Carol with the Wainright Award in recognition of her unwavering commitment to Key Club and her passion for mentoring and inspiring the next generation of leaders. Her dedication to our youth truly makes a lasting impact.

Congratulations, Carol, and thank you to the Central Valley Vietnam Veterans for all that you do. We appreciate your service, your support, and your heart for our community! ❤️💙

What an inspiring meeting with two incredible organizations making a difference right here in our community!

We were honored to welcome Cassandra Phelps, Development Director for FoodLink for Tulare County, who shared the incredible impact their organization has on families across our county. Their work is truly remarkable, but the need continues to grow. Tulare County ranks 57th out of 58 counties in California for child food security. Let that sink in. Every effort and every act of generosity helps make a difference.

We were also excited to hear from Rick Fetter of the Visalia Mall about the upcoming Kids Expo on Saturday, August 1, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at the Visalia Mall. This free community event will feature dozens of participants, including the Visalia Fire Department, Visalia Police Department, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, and many more. West Visalia Kiwanis will be there with a booth, handing out school supplies, and 2,700 backpacks will be distributed to local students.

We are proud to support both FoodLink for Tulare County and this amazing community event through our donations and partnerships. Together, we can continue making a lasting impact for the children and families of Tulare County. 💙💛

🎶 We had some very special guests join us today from Mrs. Carlton’s Orchestra at Redwood! 🎻✨

Sierra and Zack played an amazing set featuring three incredible songs for the group, and we were thrilled to support their journey by donating $500 toward their trip to Nationals in Chicago! 🎼❤️

Congratulations to these talented musicians, and we wish the entire orchestra the best of luck as they represent Redwood on the national stage! 🎶🏆
