Can you buy land and build a home with your VA Loan?

Yes! You can, it’s called a construction to permanent loan and it combines the processes of land acquisition & construction financing with the VA loan, so you end up with amazing terms & no MI! This is ideal when considering the large downpayment required and rates in the tens if you were to do a land loan and a construction loan outside of the VA loan.

NGL the process is tough, but for the right person, it’s a great use of the VA home loan.
