The Creative Center is nonprofit arts center for adults with developmental disabilities, established

The Creative Center is a non-profit community arts center for adults with developmental disabilities with the mission of fostering self-expression, self-worth and personal growth through the arts, community integration, providing cultural resources to the community, and recognizing the individual’s value and contribution. The Creative Center is a Day Training Activity Center serving adults with developmental disabilities since 1977, licensed under the State of California Deportment of Developmental Services as Facility #547203430, a vendor of service to the Central Valley Regional Center, Inc.

A look back at our last two First Friday exhibitions ✨

We had the pleasure of featuring Richard Fischer on September 4th and Sylvia Lopez on October 2nd. Both evenings were filled with incredible artwork, great conversations, and so many wonderful people coming out to support our artists.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make both exhibitions such a success. We’re already looking forward to these events next year 👀

Our artists Jeff and Haley had a wonderful time at the Central Valley Regional Center’s Fair Labor Standards Act Information Presentation in Fresno! 🎨

They had the opportunity to listen to the presentation, connect with attendees, and share and sell some of their artwork. Our artists were so excited to be there and have the chance to represent The Creative Center!

A huge thank you to CVRC for welcoming us and giving our artists the opportunity to share their work with the community. We truly appreciate the support! ❤️

🥖🤠 A Taste of Texas Roadhouse! 🤠🥖

Our individuals had the BEST time at Texas Roadhouse! ❤️

We are so grateful to their amazing team for welcoming us in and giving our individuals such a fun and memorable experience. We got to make the famous Texas Roadhouse bread rolls, learn how to roll napkins, tour the kitchen, practice serving drinks, play games, meet the Texas Roadhouse mascot 🤠, AND enjoy some delicious food! 🍽️✨

It was such a wonderful opportunity to learn, explore, socialize, and have fun together. Experiences like this mean so much to our community, and we truly appreciate Texas Roadhouse for making it so special! 🥰

What an incredible morning at The Creative Center’s Talent Show! ✨

Our talented performers filled the stage with singing, dancing, and acting, and every single performance was a joy to watch. It takes courage to share your talents, and we couldn’t be more proud of everyone who participated.
