Yes, worldviews CAN change, but why not solidify a biblical worldview in your child while you can? By age 13, kids are shaping their beliefs about themselves, others, and the world around them.

What does MY child need? What are the benefits for MY child?
Instead of just looking at data, parents should instead ask themselves what they are looking for that will benefit THEIR child. Here are some questions to ask yourself if you find yourself teetering on the edge of decision!
•What type of environment would my child thrive in?
•What does my child need in terms of support and care?
•What would give my child and me peace of mind in a troubling world?
•What do I want to shield my child from and expose them to for 6 hours a day, Monday- Friday?
•What am I willing to sacrifice at the expense of my child’s well-being?
Answering these and other questions honestly will give great insight to the value you want and place on your child’s future.

As mentioned in another post, most kids really only need about 1.5-2 hours of school daily, so homeschooling can be done at any time! You might have a couple hours around dinnertime, some time in the morning before work, on a weekend. It doesn't even need to be the same every day! (Although every child is different and some thrive on routine...another reason homeschool is so great - it's personalized!)
Homeschooling is flexible!
Can your child do a math lesson at the grocery store by adding up the total, doing percentages, or count the cash out for a smaller item?
Can they practice their reading or spelling while you're doing errands? You can choose a letter or sound (example: th) and have them find it on signs, license plates, and other items.
Learning is all around us and most things in our everyday life can be turned into a lesson!
Additionally, being part of COPI Homeschool Co-Op, we will be open twice a week for three hours each. This can be beneficial for those with part-time jobs.

You don't have to sit at a desk with a classroom setting, although there is nothing wrong with that. Homeschool is reaching your child in the way that THEY will learn best!

Homeschool doesn't have to be a strict syllabus, check marking to make sure everything is done a certain way. You have the freedom to flow with your child's interests. What fascinates your child? Animals? Sports? Volcanos?
Choose something (and this changes all the time, making new lessons) and teach lessons based on that interest.
Example: Your child asks a question about volcanos. Your lesson can be about different volcanos around the world (geography), what happens when a volcano erupts (science), read a book about a volcano that happened (history / reading).
There’s not just ONE way to teach your child.
