1:12 Ratio = Big Growth in Small Groups
At Greenhouse Montessori, every child is seen.
We keep our ratio low, just 12 students per teacher, so children get the time, support, and connection they deserve.
That means:
✅ More one-on-one guidance
✅ Deeper relationships
✅ Quicker recognition of challenges and gifts
✅ Stronger academic and social outcomes
In a world of overcrowded classrooms, we stay small by design.

The Magic of Reading with Teacher Kim
Ask Teacher Kim what lights her up, and she’ll say: “Teaching a child to read.”
"There’s something magical about that first spark when a child sounds out a word and realizes they’re reading on their own."
Kim uses Montessori’s time-tested materials to gently build literacy, one skill at a time, blending, sound games, movement, and joyful reading practice into each child’s day.
And when it clicks? The confidence is unforgettable.

No Screens Under 7 — Here’s Why
Did you know that brain development during the early years is hands-on, not digital?
At Greenhouse Montessori, children under age 7 are screen-free.
That means:
✅ More face-to-face conversation
✅ More sensory-rich learning
✅ More movement, collaboration, and real-world problem solving
We follow decades of research that shows how limited tech exposure early in life supports stronger attention, language, and self-regulation.
Let them explore with their hands, not just their thumbs.

Montessori Myth Buster “Kids Just Do Whatever They Want”
It’s a common myth, and it couldn’t be further from the truth.
In a Montessori classroom, freedom always comes with structure and purpose.
Children choose meaningful work from a carefully prepared environment and are guided by trained teachers who understand when to step in and when to step back.
At Greenhouse Montessori, we honor a child’s curiosity while building concentration, responsibility, and self-discipline.
✨ Real independence. Real growth.

take a look
The 17-year-old high school cheerleader from Nevada, named Brianne Cullen, was diagnosed with bronchiolitis obliterans, popularly known as “popcorn lung”, after va**ng since the age of 14... and secretly from her parents. 😰💨
Symptoms of this illness include chronic cough, shortness of breath, and fatigue, due to the scars that form in the airways caused by “popcorn lung”.
Brianne will have to live with the consequences of va**ng, and as she couldn't live without her v**e before, now she is dependent on an inhaler to breathe. With a future that is unhealthier... and uncertain.

In traditional settings, Kindergarten often rushes children into academic expectations before they’re ready, or keeps them stuck in repetition without purpose. But in Montessori, your child moves at their own pace, mastering skills through concrete experiences and real-world applications.
It’s the year your child:
Takes on a leadership role in the classroom
Refines foundational academic skills through meaningful, hands-on work
Becomes a confident, independent thinker
Builds emotional maturity and social awareness
Transitions naturally into abstract learning
