Text: VUSD’s V**e Taskforce was created in 2019 as a direct response to the rising concern of student v**e-use and student suspension rates. This multi-agency taskforce is made up of VUSD staff, local organizations and industry experts, law enforcement personnel and health community professionals.

The mission and purpose of the VUSD V**e Taskforce is to stay aware of the latest trends in student-va**ng and the v**e culture and identify and provide various prevention and intervention strategies for VUSD school sites to implement on campus.

Taskforce meetings are held monthly and are open to anyone interested in joining or just attending a meeting. Please reach out to Frank Escobar, Director of Student Services, at [email protected] if you are interested in joining the Taskforce or attending a meeting?
