Going out in style! 🥒 🍋 🌱
Our learners enjoyed a special Spa Day, where they had the opportunity to care for themselves and for one another. They served refreshing cucumber-lemon water, offered a selection of facial masks for friends to choose from, and delivered cool cucumber slices for tired eyes on a hot day.

Afterward, everyone had fun visiting the Makeup Bar, where Layla and Zoey helped their friends feel extra pampered and special. Beyond the relaxation, learners practiced kindness, hospitality, thoughtfulness, and service; important life skills that help build caring communities.

It was a beautiful day filled with laughter, connection, and a little bit of luxury. A perfect way to celebrate a fantastic year together!

Yesterday our Wild Hearts learners wrapped up their Children’s Business Fair after spending time brainstorming, building, and making products during Independent Projects classes!

From choosing business names, creating signs, calculating supply costs, setting prices, helping customers, handling money, and learning how to present their creations to others… these learners worked hard. We saw creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, courage, and so much pride in their work.

The celebration at the end was such a joyful way to honor all of their effort and growth. Watching kids step into their ideas and bring them to life is always something special.

Exploring bold colors, shapes, lines, and emotion through Kandinsky-inspired art pieces! Art can “feel” like music when we experiment with abstract designs, color relationships, and creative expression. Every piece turned out completely unique; full of movement, imagination, and personality. 🎨✨

Today we offered a challenge in teamwork and stepping outside comfort zones!

What looked simple quickly turned into a real lesson in communication, cooperation, and listening. We talked about not barking at each other, and how repeating the same thing over and over won’t give you new results.

Instead, we looked towards pausing, assessing, evaluating, and looking at a challenge from different perspectives.
