Offered at both our Mesabi Range Virginia and Itasca campuses, our Engineering program gives students a strong foundation in engineering, math, and science while providing a clear pathway to a bachelor's degree. Through our partnership with Iron Range Engineering program, students can continue their education and earn a four-year degree while gaining valuable real-world experience through paid apprenticeships during their final two years. 👏🔬

🏁 LABOR DAY SHOOTOUT | KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
The Labor Day Shootout returns to Hibbing Speedway Sept. 5 & 6, and we’re looking forward to welcoming racers, crews and race fans back to Hibbing for another big weekend!

With plenty of visitors expected in the Speedway area — including those making a weekend of it — the Hibbing Police Department wants to make sure everyone knows the rules before setting up camp or settling in for the festivities.

🚗 OVERFLOW PARKING
Need another place to park? Overflow parking is available at Vic Power Park, 2159 25th St. E.

🔥 NO FIRES
No fires of any kind are permitted — including above-ground fire pits. Please plan accordingly if you're camping for the weekend.

⛺ CAMPING
Camping is permitted only in the designated camping areas near Hibbing Speedway and at Vic Power Park, shown as A, B and C on the accompanying map.
Vehicles may be parked on City and college grounds, but campers and camping are not permitted in those areas. Campers found outside the designated camping areas are subject to towing at the owner's expense.

🍻 ALCOHOL
Open liquor containers are permitted only on Hibbing Speedway property. Please keep alcoholic beverages within the Speedway grounds.

🚓 PLAN AHEAD
If you're drinking, make your transportation plan before the green flag drops. Designate a sober driver, arrange for a ride or use another safe transportation option. Please don't drink and drive.
We want everyone to enjoy the Labor Day Shootout, have a great weekend in Hibbing and make it home safely.

Take a look at the map before you arrive so you know where camping is — and isn't — allowed.

🏁 Have fun. Be smart. Be safe. We'll see you at the races!
