Kenya Zickefoose and Mary Inman collaborated with Ellen Nesbit the Instructional Technology Specialist, Amy Ricks the Library Media Specialist and Angela Chaffin the Gifted Resource Teacher to bring future-ready skills using coding to create rigor in a geography lesson. Students engaged with maps of the world and the United States to direct their Spheros and Rovers to the correct locations to avoid the Zombie Apocalypse and win the Amazing Race. Students enjoyed the rigor and relevance of the lesson.
