Welcome Ms. Callahan to GN! She will be brining alot of math experience to The Cove!

We had a great team attend the VBCPS Leadership Conference this week. Two different groups presenting some of the great things happening in The Cove. A few more weeks of summer and we’ll be welcoming teachers and students back to the building!

We’re excited to welcome Mr. Martin to the Cove. He has served as a coach on our wrestling staff. We can’t wait for him to join us in August as a Health/PE Teacher.

Principal Scherr, Ms. Lambson (SAC) and club advisers (You Belong, TIDE Coalition and SCA) Mrs. Huffman, Mrs. Wilson, and Mrs. Chapa joined our students to hear about everything they've learned over the past two days at the Middle School Leadership Summit.

Students shared how the leadership skills they've developed will help make GN an even better place by fostering kindness, teamwork, responsibility, and school pride. We are proud of their enthusiasm and can't wait to see them put these skills into action throughout the school year. Great things are ahead for GN!

We are losing some great educators- Retirees Ms. Casazza, Mr. Splendore, and Ms. Bowen. We also say “not goodbye, but see you later” to some others who are moving on to other adventures- Ms. Nieva, Ms. Jones, Ms. Pearson, Ms. Rentz, Ms. Neal, Ms. Ott-Bales, Ms. Chandler, and Ms. Buddenhagen.
