Amy Saunders truly makes a difference every single day. She is a strong leader, incredibly organized, and a wonderful team player who is always willing to go
the extra mile. Amy works with 6–8 Level 1 ESL
students in her classroom and goes above and beyond to make sure each of them feels welcomed, included, and successful. She takes the time to translate and make sure her students understand what is being taught, creating a classroom where every child
feels valued and supported. Her students clearly love her, and it is easy to see why. Amy is also a tremendous resource for her team. Her knowledge of special education services is invaluable, and she is always willing to share her expertise and support her colleagues. She even goes above and beyond by helping monitor substitutes who work with her
team. Most of all, Amy loves what she does, and that passion shines through every day. Amy, thank you for your dedication, your leadership, your compassion, and the difference you make in the lives of your students and your team. You are truly deserving of this award!

IMAD Mr. Morrison has truly made a difference in the lives of his students. He doesn’t just teach science, he genuinely loves teaching science and that passion is contagious. He has a way of connecting with kids, making them laugh, challenging them, and helping them see that they are capable of more than they might think. Thank you Mr. Morrison, you have made a difference at GNMS.

Suzanne is truly extraordinary in education. She kindly stepped in as a 6TH Grade classroom teacher – until the new teacher will be in the building – along with continuing her literacy classes. She makes the classroom and learning fun! She is an excellent resource with knowledge across subjects. She is a true treasure as both a teacher and a colleague.

She is always a breath of fresh air when she comes the office – just sprinkling smiles and jokes all around. She creates such a hospitable and friendly culture in her classes – and the students love her. That kind of atmosphere makes a huge difference in learning. When an instructor fosters genuine warmth and friendliness, students feel safe, asking questions, and engaging fully.

If you’re having a bad day – just see Mrs. Bruehl – she will help with a smile, a little quick wit, and a Jolly Rancher!

I MAKE A DIFFERENCE -- Angela Masciulli --While her official title is Bookkeeper, Angie Masciulli, contributes so much more to our school. She is consistently the first person to arrive every morning, setting a positive tone for the entire building—whether she is monitoring the morning security desk, restocking copy room paper, or ensuring teachers have every resource they need delivered directly to their doors. Her dedication extends far beyond managing budgets; she spends every day quietly clearing obstacles so our staff can focus on what they do best.

Her extraordinary care was especially evident this summer. She prepared thoughtful welcome kits for our new teachers and organized and delivered first-day supplies for our students. From directing the afternoon parent pick-up line to handling daily logistics, Angie tackles every task with an infectious smile and an unwavering eagerness to help. She doesn't just keep our school running—she makes everyone in it feel valued and supported.
