Our Junior Kindergarten class loved learning about the butterfly life cycle as we watched our caterpillars transform from chrysalis’ into beautiful Painted Lady butterflies! 🐛🦋

After naming each one, we released them on the playground and watched them flutter off into the sky—such a special, hands-on learning moment! 💛

Today our Kindergarten students engaged in a Battle of the Books! 📚 Children worked in teams to answer questions from our favorite stories this year. It was a close call with all teams demonstrating excellent comprehension skills, but Lit and Legit took the final prize with 26 total points!

One of our beloved Beach Day family members, Doug, is taking on an incredible challenge of completing seven Ironmans in seven days across the seven cities of Hampton Roads!

He’s doing it all to raise awareness and support for the , which he co-founded with his wife, Rachel.

To cheer him on, our students and staff surprised him with a hallway celebration full of love and encouragement. We are so proud to support Doug on this inspiring journey! 🏃 🏊‍♂️ 🚲
