TBBCS Quarterly Update - September 9, 2026
To all friends of TBBCS,
We give glory and thanks to the LORD God, the Creator of all that exists, for your firmness in Him and in Jesus Christ, His Son! Your care and remembrance of us before our LORD assists us not only to teach and develop believers through Tabernacle Baptist Bible College and Seminary but also to prepare and make available through Scripture Research Associates the intensive analytical documents that help all who are seeking to know Him accurately.
We do not consider your care to be personal for us alone; you are assisting us to help others around the world. At least two of our students in Kenya are teaching others there in Bible college settings. Then, too, a new transfer student in Uganda has enrolled for fall classes. Then, too, yet another student in India is seeking to enroll for Masters level studies, and that is not the end. A pastor in Burundi, Africa, is asking us to come there and start a Bible college for them. Certainly, we cannot go to Burundi for the time it would take to accomplish that task, but we will seek to provide them with materials they can use to teach what is needed. It is interesting that most churches here in America think only of sending "missionaries" to these foreign countries, but we are focusing more on developing men and women in those places to enable them to accurately teach and proclaim the design of God just as men and women do in the U.S.
Here at TBBCS, we do not just teach the ideas and understandings of men, and women, about God and "His will" for all humanity, indeed for all that exists. We have given ourselves and our teaching to representing Him, the transcendent Creator of all that exists, as He actually revealed His perfect person and nature, and His perfect design, in His written revelation and in every aspect of the creation. The entirety of the physical creation was not "made" by any created beings of any kind, nor were the "hearts" of all human beings. He, the God Who Exists, created the entirety in absolute perfection, but we, his human creatures, violated His perfect design and chose to go our own way. God, however, in His magnificent love and care for His created beings, gave His own Son to reconcile all humanity to Himself, requiring only that we, as humans, recognize our error and accept the death of His Son, the LORD Jesus Christ, as the payment for our reconciliation to Him. We, then, must place our full confidence in the fact that His Son rose from the dead and continues to live and work to turn every human of this alienated world back to Himself and His perfect design. We, then, having been created as His "images," are to represent Him, and His design, to all the world around us, but we must do so accurately.
Through the years of time, many humans have twisted and perverted the actual words and meanings of God's written revelation to make His words appear to say whatever they, as humans, want to teach and proclaim, and the unGodly result is now obvious in all the different wrong "beliefs" about Him and His written revelation. This is the error that we at TBBCS are seeking to correct by teaching His written revelation, not as we have heard it from others, but according to the original writings of His holy men. Thus, we begin by seeking an accurate understanding of the very words which Adam wrote in the perfect language which God had built into him and Eve, and this seeking requires that we learn Adam's language, the very same language which was never changed throughout the entire Old Testament era and which is now called ancient Hebrew. Many wrong and destructive ideas regarding the meanings and significances of God's original Hebrew texts have developed from wrong ideas regarding Adam's language, but we at TBBCS seek to correct those errors by seeking to know all of God's written record as He actually gave it. Truly seeking to know God as He revealed Himself in His original language texts gives a clarity and power to all of His perfect revelation, and thus, we at TBBCS are committed to providing this ability to our students, and to all who desire to "seek Him and find Him when they search for Him with all their heart." Our teaching does not focus on "academic achievement," but upon "seeking and finding Him" as He actually revealed Himself, and this has made the learning of our students to far exceed most "academic" studies. We seek to know and represent the Creator as He revealed Himself, not in the language of any translation, but in His chosen original language texts: the words of His Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic Scriptures.
So many have made the learning of His original languages appear to be difficult and unnecessary, but this was done by those who did not know Him accurately. We seek to correct this extremely destructive error. I myself experienced the truly seeking heart of an 80-year old pastor for whom I spoke multiple times in his church. This Godly man, a man who had pastored for many years but had never learned any "Biblical language," asked me if he, at age 80, could learn Hebrew. I told him that I had no doubt that he, a man who so greatly loved the LORD Jesus Christ, could do so. He wanted me to become the pastor of his church and build the Bible college which he was seeking to establish. He had seen in all our interactions the Godly effects of knowing and properly applying God's original languages in knowing Him and His design, and this Godly man wanted these effects in his church and all its ministries.
Even now we are seeing these same effects in the lives of some students. This involves much more than what is involved in the typical "Biblical language" studies taught in virtually all schools and assemblies of believers. Our "Biblical language" studies of the Scriptures have opened the understandings of our students, manifesting God's perfect design with a clarity and power seldom experienced by "believers."
We are turning the minds of our students back to trustworthy translations that they will be able to explain and clarify as they apply what they have learned of God's original language texts. None of the credit goes to us; we are simply doing the perfect design of God, and your support is helping all whom we touch. May the LORD God bless you for your part in all this!
