East Coast Hikers

We had a great sunset walk this evening at Sherwood Lakes in Pungo, Virginia Beach! 🌅 We had 25 members join us, including several new faces. It was hot and humid 🥵 but it was still a beautiful evening to be outside. We covered 4 miles 👟 while enjoying peaceful lake views, wooded trails 🌳 wildlife sightings 🐢 and a gorgeous sunset over the water. After the walk, many of us headed to Shorebreak Pizza & Taphouse – Pungo 🍕 where the extra-large pizzas were just $10 and definitely a crowd favorite. The cold drinks 🥤 and great conversation made for the perfect ending to the evening. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it another wonderful East Coast Hikers event. We appreciate each of you and look forward to seeing you on the next adventure! ❤️🌿

We had a beautiful Saturday morning exploring the Elizabeth River Trail with 17 East Coast Hikers joining us. 👟 We covered 4.5 miles while enjoying waterfront views, historic landmarks, ships, marinas, and plenty of great conversation along the way. The weather was perfect for most of the walk, although it definitely started warming up toward the end. Thank you to everyone who came out and spent part of your morning with us. We appreciate each of you and look forward to seeing you on the next adventure! 🙌🏼🌊☀️

We had a great evening walk at Mt. Trashmore Park with 26 East Coast Hikers members joining us, including several new faces. 👟 The weather was beautiful, the sunset views over the lake were amazing, and the company made for a fantastic evening outdoors. Members completed one or two laps around the park, with many covering about 4.6 miles total. We were also joined by a friendly four-legged hiking companion who helped bring a few extra smiles along the way. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it another wonderful East Coast Hikers event. We appreciate each of you and hope to see you again next week—same place, same time! 🌅
