Today, Mrs. Huggins's homeroom conducted a scientific investigation to find out if speed would affect how long a piece of paper would stay on their shirt. This is the intro into the speed and force part of our science unit on energy.

Our school is so excited to be hosting the Apex Fun Run as our major fundraiser this semester. Apex Fun Run is a two-week leadership and fitness program that raises money for the top schools in America. Each student will receive daily character lessons and awards as they learn what it takes to be a true leader. Please consider to help us reach our budget goals for this year.

It's hard to believe summer is over and we are headed back to school. We are excited to have our new classes of fifth grade students. Have a fantastic first week!

It was Tax Day in 5th Grade! Students learned how it felt to be unfairly taxed by King George without representation in Parliament. Some colonists were NOT happy.
