Seeing my friends and family dive into new ventures 👏🏽 is 👏🏽 the 👏🏽 best.

My fellow over 40 warrior, Travis, took charge of his health and destiny last year. After training DDP YOGA and loving it, Travis decided to teach too.

Thennnnn the rona hit and changed how we all did everything and anything. Determined to keep going, he pivoted, collaborated with great people, and made it work! So much so that he has students across the globe...all from his farmhouse.

I've taken one of his classes and follow the awesome Shamrock Fitness "A DDPYOGA Experience" community of everyday warriors working together to heal and get strong. Seeing how lives are transformed from the inside and out is inspiring.

They started in the hands of a tortured soul set free. Now they sit in my creative arsenal.

These three pens belonged to my brother-in-love, Thomas. He was a soulful artist with vision ahead of his time and a heart burdened with a lifetime of sadness and trauma.

While he found the Light of Jesus after years of dark detours, his life was cut short before he could enjoy his healing.

Our youngest and last surviving brother, Joe, entrusted these pens to me tonight. He and his wife gave me this book of prompts to write new stories with Thomas' pens in hand. Wow.

Humbled to wield his tools. Determined to use Joe's powerful gift to tell stories that catalyze compassion and strength. Thankful for such love. Merry Christmas indeed.

Content creation can happen whenever you need it to go down.

Assess what you have. Ask for help. Be flexible and open. Bring your best. And edit, edit, edit!

This was my first time recording and performing from multiple angles simultaneously.

Using a ton of takes plus tools and advice from videographer brother-in-law/ fellow small biz owner Ctrl+Z, it got done. And it looks good.

Excited to see Z clean it up and edit this bad boy.

Content creator hips don't lie! And mine are tiiiiighhhhht, y'all.

I know we like to grind, but are we taking time to heal? Stretching, drinking enough water, adding a big ole salad to our weekly diet, looking at something that's NOT a screen?

Girl, I need to work on this too. After listening to Dr. Ragan Chatterjee on the Marie Forleo podcast, I'm encouraged that the start can be simple as 5 minutes a day.

You're a working mama with multiple businesses and children? Okay - TWO minutes. Like brushing your teeth as Dr. Chatterjee says.

If anyone deserves 2 minutes (and more), it's YOU. Give yourself two minutes to move. Dance party. Yoga sequence like I did. Play with your babies. Anything that gets you moving and grooving.

If you enjoy food that nourishes your soul, my girl does this and more.

As my right hand gal - facilities wonder woman, Sophia soars to elevate every project and task she has. She constantly improves our work at Impact Martial Arts Academy and challenges me to be better, do better.

Since she is bursting with creativity and hospitality, Sophie loves to serve others by cooking and sharing.

Not content to allow quarantine or difficulties hold her back, she generously choose to cook this fabulous feast featured here. Not just for her family, but for mine and several others.

She didn't do it for anything in return. She did it to give of herself. She did it to show that love can be practical, safe, and generous against all odds.

She did it to take a leap of faith in herself. She did it by stepping out to serve others with her gifts and passion. She did what she could with what she had for the people God placed in her path. Now that she took a step for us, let's take one for her.

Follow her on her path if you want to see more of this kind of hospitality in our area. I know I do!
