Our last Spirit Night of the school year will be on Saturday, May 30th at 6:35 pm! Not only do you get to enjoy a baseball game but it is also Teacher Appreciation Night at the park AND fireworks at the end of the game. Also, fans who donate a minimum of five school supply items upon entry will receive a free reserved seat ticket voucher good for any September 2026 game.

Last night, the ODS PTA attended the Council Awards dinner. The dinner celebrated all the VBCPS volunteers of the year from all over the city, as well as additional PTA awards.

We were pleased to attend in honor of ODS PTA’s volunteer of the year, Hajar Street. The ODS PTA also received the cardinal award for membership and earned the new Sign Up Genius Award (for the secondary division) for utilizing the platform the most in the city and having more than 80% volunteer positions filled each time a request goes out.

Congrats to Hajar and to all of the volunteers of the ODS PTA! The programs and events at ODS are successful because of the wonderful support we get from each of you!

School Supply kits are based on what each grade level requests, plus options to add extra elements. The kits will be available for pick up during the Open House and Rising Tides events in August (dates to be announced in the summer).

Each year during the first week of May, our hospitality committee hosts a Staff Appreciation Week for ODS. We honor all of the members of the ODS staff for all that they do for our children.
