The NHSDA interest meeting is TOMORROW, September 18th from 6:30-7:30pm at our Lynnhaven studio location!!💙🌟
If your dancer is a 6th-12th grade student, they are eligible to join NHSDA this year! We are very excited about our 2026-2027 NHSDA timeline, and we can't wait to share our plans with you all!✨
This is a great opportunity to learn about NHSDA, how it benefits our dancers, and what to expect throughout the year. We hope you'll join us to learn more! 👯

We’re so excited to introduce Little Learners Lab, an arts + movement program designed for little ones ages 2-5 years old!

Our program is all about learning through play and giving children a space to create, explore, move, and build confidence while developing important social and early-learning skills. Each day will include hands-on activities, arts & crafts, music, movement, dancing, sensory exploration, open-ended play, and new monthly themes!

AND BEFORE OUR OFFICIAL FIRST DAY... WE’RE OFFERING FREE TRIAL DAYS!

We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a once monthly pop-up class for adults to have fun and let loose after a long work week! 🌟
MIM After Dark classes will be held one Friday per month, with the first one on September 18th from 8:00-9:30pm at our Boulevard studio location! ✨
We are thrilled to welcome Jess as our very first instructor!! She will be teaching a Y2K Video Vixen dance class, so come prepared to have some fun! 💙
Tickets are $20, which includes one Cosmopolitan drink & raffle ticket.

We’re celebrating Ms. HJ today and the extraordinary artistry, professionalism, and heart she brings to Music in Motion!

With a rich performance background spanning classical ballet training, a BFA in Dance Performance, and professional work with companies across the East Coast, HJ brings a depth of experience that elevates our dancers every day. From her classical roots to her powerful contemporary and ballet performance career, she leads with intention, clarity, and care. As a founding member of Norfolk Dance Collective and now balancing her continued artistic journey with family life, HJ is a beautiful example of growth both on and off the stage. We are so thankful for her presence and leadership. Happy Birthday, Ms. HJ! 💛🩰
