School may be out, but meals are still on the menu! ☀️🍎

Beginning June 22, VBCPS will offer free breakfast and lunch to children throughout the summer at select school locations across Virginia Beach. No paperwork, enrollment, or residency requirements are needed.

Meals will be available Monday through Thursday starting June 22, on a first-come, first-served basis.

The countdown to the last day of school is ON! ⏳

Can you believe how quickly this year has gone by? From the first day drop-offs to now, this community has shown up in the best way possible.

Let's finish strong, Chiefs! Let's soak up these final days, cheer on our students, and celebrate everything they've accomplished this year. 🎉

Important: Bus registration for 2026-2027 is open‼️ If your child needs school bus transportation next year, you need to register in ParentVUE by June 15, 2026.

𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰:
🚌 Only registered students will be assigned a bus + bus stop. If you don't register, there may be no bus service for your family next year.
🚌 After 6/15, bus information in ParentVUE will be locked so routes + schedules can be finalized.

𝐀 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
🚌 Daycare transportation — Contact your child's 2026-2027 school by 7/1 with the daycare name + address. Service is only available for in-zone providers.
🚌 Special needs transportation — Registration is handled directly by your child's 2026-2027 school, in coordination with your family and your child's IEP team. Reach out to the school before 7/1.
