A Helping Hand A HELPING HAND HR was created in 2008 by Virginia Beach native, Courtney Davis.

A Helping Hand's primary goal while providing In Home & Onsite Event Childcare is to deliver a stimulating and safe environment to children, and allow the parents to enjoy their function. Courtney’s sole intention for creating her business, A Helping Hand, was to provide help, relief, and assistance to busy families of Hampton Roads. She knew what core qualities her staff needed to embrace to ensure the families of Hampton roads were provided with the elite service they deserved. Courtney focuses on dependability, trustworthiness, attentiveness to detail, a willingness to provide impeccable service, and a go getting attitude, when hiring Helpers to join her Helping Hand team! Courtney has formed a team of individuals who share her commitment and enthusiasm for helping others live their best lives!

Do you love working with kids, leading a team, and creating fun, memorable experiences? We’re looking for confident, dependable, and energetic Onsite Childcare Managers to join our A Helping Hand team! 💗

Our managers help lead our interactive kids’ programs at events, conferences, weddings, retreats & more — creating a safe, fun environment filled with activities, games, crafts, and plenty of fun!

💼 What we’re looking for:
• 2+ years of childcare experience
• 2+ years of management/leadership experience
• Flexible availability, including weekends
• Strong communication & problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation & willingness to travel
• CPR/First Aid certification
• A positive, professional, team-oriented attitude

From the beaches of Hawaii to the Wild West! 🤠🌺 We had an incredible time providing onsite childcare for a special retreat at the Hilton Hawaiian Village where the little guests traded their flip-flops for cowboy boots and had a rootin’ tootin’ good time!

Our Western-themed kids’ experience was filled with big adventures, creative activities, games, and plenty of smiles—giving the kids a space to have a blast while their families enjoyed their retreat.

🦸‍♀️✨ Every superhero has a mission… ours is caring for the littlest All-Stars. ⚾️🩷

Earlier this week, our incredible team had the honor of providing on-site childcare for athletes and their families during the MLB All-Star festivities.

With our Superhero All-Stars theme leading the way, we created a fun, safe, and action-packed space where kids could play, create memories, and feel like heroes of the day.

It was truly a pleasure to support these families behind the scenes while they enjoyed one of baseball’s biggest events. Thank you for trusting A Helping Hand to be part of such a memorable week!
