Our middle school students had an amazing time at this year’s Beach Day filled with outdoor adventure, laughter, and community! 🌊☀️

Thanks to support from Chesapean Outdoors, students enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, water sliding, and time together in the sand and sunshine.

A special thank you to the parents who joined us and helped make the day such a success. We’re so grateful for our incredible CBA community! 💙

Virtual Reality in Education: The Future of Learning Environments 05/20/2026

Virtual reality isn’t the future of education — it’s already transforming how students learn. 🌐🥽

From virtual field trips to immersive, hands-on experiences, VR helps students engage more deeply and retain more. That’s the kind of innovation driving CadetNet Virtual Academy at CBA.

We believe learning should be interactive, collaborative, and connected to the real world — preparing students for the future they’ll actually live and work in.

What started as a quick interview with Lower School Class President Carter R. became a great reminder of the friendships and support that define CBA.

Over lunch, students shared their favorite parts of the day, talked about helping and encouraging one another, and proudly reflected on friendship, inclusion, and doing their best. Their kindness and connection showed exactly what makes the CBA community so special.

Upper schoolers recently participated in the Congressional Art Competition, a nationwide program sponsored by the U.S. House of Representatives to recognize high school artists.

Congratulations to 11th grader Zachary G., whose photograph Union Pacific Railroad was selected for display in Congresswoman Jen Kiggans’ district office for the next year as part of the 2026 competition celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary.

Zach attended this week’s reception and ceremony with student artists from across Virginia Beach. In his artist statement, he shared that his work highlights the important role railroads — especially the transcontinental railroad — played in connecting the country.

We are proud to see Zach share his talent and photography with the broader community!
