By participating in our educational programs, participants become healthier, more productive citizens who further contribute to Virginia's social and economic stability.

Graduation class of Facilitation workshop. Participants learned the ins and outs of running effective meetings. Virginia Virginia Tech Specialists conducted the workshop with the assistance from the VA Beach Senior Family and Consumer Sciences Agent.

Family & Consumer Sciences Day - "Dining In" for Healthy Families Last year, more than 100,000 people committed to preparing and eating a healthy meal together on December 3. This year, we want to double our results and reach 200,000 commitments! You'll be able to track our progress by checking back to see the thermometer and following us on social media.

34 dedicated individuals graduated from the Master Financial Education Volunteer program training. This was the largest training class to date Congratulations to all. These individuals will serve as Financial coaches and financial teachers for the South Hampton Roads community.
