We are two weeks in to the 26-27 school year and our Beach Bag volunteers have reported back to duty! Thank you Langley for this generous support for our student-led packing events! Stay tuned for more details!

The Langley for Families Foundation recently awarded $10,000 to the Virginia Beach Education Foundation to support their Beach Bags Program. 🎒

Each week, this program delivers an average of 1,200 “Beach Bags” filled with kid-friendly, shelf-stable food to students facing food insecurity—bridging the gap between school meals over weekends and breaks. This grant will help stock food for student-led “Pack It Forward” volunteer events, which pack and distribute bags while building community awareness.

No child should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from. This program helps make sure they don’t have to. 🥪
