This week, our Eagles gathered for our first School Mass of the 2026–2027 school year, and it was an especially meaningful celebration as we welcomed Father John for his first Mass with our school community!
What a beautiful way to begin a new school year! Coming together as church and school to pray, worship, and celebrate our shared Catholic faith. We are so grateful to have Father John celebrating with our students, faculty, staff, and families as we begin another faith-filled year at St. Matthew’s Catholic School.
School Mass is a cherished part of life at St. Matthew’s. It is a time for our Eagles to step away from the busyness of the school day, gather together in prayer, and celebrate the Eucharist as one community.
These moments remind us that our faith is not simply something we learn, it is something we live each day. Through School Mass, our students have the opportunity to pause, pray, give thanks, and strengthen their relationship with God alongside their classmates, teachers, and school family.
As we begin this new school year, we are grateful for the many blessings ahead and for every opportunity to grow together in faith, knowledge, and service. We look forward to many more opportunities throughout the year to come together, celebrate our faith, and grow as one Catholic community.
