Truth!!

I've had two phone calls this week from people looking for child care. I really do miss my day care children. It was the most rewarding job that I've ever had.

This morning Alicia got into the car to go to her day camp. Backing out of the drive way I noticed she looked really sad. I asked why she looked so glum? She replied "I wish you still watched babies, I miss the babies and staying home with you."

Happy Father's Day! Today I am enjoying time with my daughters. I truly miss my daycare kids, they are still a part of family. We talk about them daily. I poured my heart into them, they refilled it each day.

Tonight putting Alicia to bed she asked me to scratch her head and put her to sleep like I did for AJ and my other daycare kids. Sweet memories I miss my precious daycare kids.

I have had 2 phone calls this week looking for child care, I have had at least 1 call every week since I left Virginia. I still have not found employment here in Florida. I get the girls off to school and the house is too quiet. I miss the kids laughter and playing each day. I have enjoyed every place I have worked, by giving my best to each job, but the kids kept me young and they hold a special place in my heart. Even as I look forward to my new career. I cant see any of the jobs I have applied for, being as rewarding as Craig's Family Day Home.
