22 days to help expand the impact for the Class of 2026. The countdown is on for WOASF’s Clear the Runway campaign.
Each year, WOASF and administered partners award scholarships to Navy aviation dependents whose lives have been shaped by service, deployments, moves, and the strength of military family life.
This year’s Class of 2026 is already taking shape, and every gift made by June 30 helps determine how many additional qualified students can receive support.
This is not just about scholarship dollars.
It is about recognizing Navy aviation families, investing in future leaders, and helping students take their next step with confidence.
Help us clear the runway by June 30.
Donate today and be part of launching what comes next.

✈️ Before May ends — one more way to honor their service.
At Wings Over America, appreciation doesn't stop when the calendar turns. It becomes action.
Some of the most powerful gifts in our community are memorial scholarships — donations made in the name of those who served, that now fund the education of Navy aviation families they were proud to be part of.
Their names live on through education:
⭐ VADM Richard "Sweetpea" Allen, USN
⭐ LT Paul R. Fridley, USN
⭐ CAPT John "Turk" Green, USN
⭐ CAPT Brad Johanson, USN
⭐ RADM Jack Godlewski, USN
⭐ VADM Michael Malone, USN
Scholarships for the Class of 2026 are being awarded in June. What we raise by June 30 determines how many Navy aviation family students we can fully support this year.
This is how appreciation becomes something real.
👉 Invest in their future

This Memorial Day, we remember the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our nation.
⚡But remembrance cannot end with words.
It must become action.
💔 Behind every fallen service member is a family carrying forward their legacy.
👩👦 A spouse rebuilding.
🎓 A child pursuing a future through unimaginable loss.
🛡️ A family choosing resilience every single day.
✈️ At Wings Over America, we honor that sacrifice by ensuring Navy aviation families are never left behind in their pursuit of education.
Every scholarship is more than financial support.
It is hope.
It is stability.
It is a nation saying:
“We still stand with you.”
🚨 This is the final stretch to fund the Class of 2026.
📈 What we do right now determines how many students we can support this year.
Honor their sacrifice.
✨Invest in the future they defended.
❤️ Donate today.
🔁 Share this post to honor a fallen hero and support the families they loved most.

✈️ Every scholarship tells a story of resilience, sacrifice, & possibility. Behind every application is a student carrying the weight of service, transition, deployment, & uncertainty, while still choosing to pursue their future.
⚓ APPRECIATION BECOMES ACTION when opportunity takes flight.
🎓$5,000 funds a full scholarship
🎓$2,500 supports half a scholarship
🎓$1,000 funds a partial scholarship
🎓$500 covers mandatory university fees
🎓$100 supports technology & library fees
What we raise now determines how many students we can support this year.
This is more than a donation.
It is an investment in opportunity, stability, & the future of Navy aviation families.

For Navy Aviation families, gratitude matters. But a scholarship shapes what comes next.
🛫 There are outstanding students ready for takeoff. Too many are still waiting on the deck.
🎓 A scholarship is the difference between waiting and moving forward.
Every gift removes a barrier.
Every gift creates possibility.
Every gift moves a student forward.
This is more than a donation.
It is an investment in resilience, opportunity, and the future of those who serve.
⭐ Our mission: Clear the Runway. Don’t just say thank you.
🚀 Invest in their future.

Join us in eliminating barriers that students did not choose.
Military families don’t choose instability.
They don’t choose constant relocation.
They don’t choose the disruptions that come with service.
But students live with those realities every day.
In just a few weeks, scholarships will be awarded.
What we do right now determines who gets that opportunity—and who keeps waiting.
👉 Help remove those barriers today:

Meet our WOASF Volunteer Renewable Scholar, Gwendolyn Moore, from Yorktown, Virginia! Gwen is a sophomore at Virginia Tech, majoring in Music Education. She is deeply grateful for the scholarship and shares:
"To me, this scholarship means I have the honor of doing music every day alongside an incredibly supportive community and an even more supportive group of faculty. It has allowed me to not only continue my passion for music but also grow in my knowledge of it. I intend to be an educator when I graduate, and I am grateful that I can constantly pursue extracurriculars, studies, ensembles, and leadership roles that push me to become the best educator I can be."
We’re proud to support students like Gwen as they pursue their passions and shape the future through education. 🎶

Meet Mike and Peg Shoemaker Scholar Madison Jackson! Hailing from College Station, Texas, Madison is a junior at Texas A&M University, where she is pursuing a degree in Architecture with a minor in Philosophy. She wrote to WOASF:
"I am beyond grateful for the support the Wings Over America
Scholarship offers me as I continue my educational journey. As an
aspiring architect, I must either obtain a five-year professional
bachelor's degree or a six-year master's degree to obtain licensure. This degree and the extra years of education required place an additional financial burden on me and my family. However, the receipt of this scholarship greatly helps to relieve the financial pressure of making six years of college tuition affordable."
