"Ryan Brown is always up for a challenge โ and whatever the challenge is, heโll take it on with his customary good nature and positive, friendly attitude. That is how he approaches varsity lacrosse, soccer, basketball and track; how he approaches his grueling summer job resurfacing asphalt; and how he approaches his volunteer work with families of autistic children. Ryan is a quintessential โgood kid.โ He will be missed at Cape Henry next year for his smiles, thoughtfulness and contributions to the school community, both athletically and academically. James Madison University is lucky to have him."

"A keen observer with sharp wit, Anne Crouch takes in every aspect of a math problem, crew race, biology lab or a new musical composition before taking action. Anne is as comfortable leading as she is allowing others to take the reigns, but her impact is omnipresent. Whether through fostering 20 dogs on her own or leading the Animal Outreach clubโs weekly meetings; playing a guitar solo at home or being a judge for our annual Battle of the Bands; or observing surgeries at our local hospital or assisting with research alongside a doctoral resident, Anne leaves an imprint that is both measurable and unforgettable. Her future at the University of Virginia, where she was awarded the prestigious Jefferson Scholarship, is bright, and her impact here will endure."

Alex has never confined himself to one lane. During his time at Cape Henry Collegiate, he followed his curiosity wherever it led, from the competitive world of robotics to the stage with chorus and the podium through Cape Henry Supreme Court. He approached each opportunity with focus and genuine interest, not for recognition but for the challenge and the chance to contribute. Whether building a better robot, crafting a legal argument or helping our community think responsibly about AI, Alex made his mark and we look forward to seeing him do the same at Virginia Tech.

From an early age as a member of our lower school, Serenity has contributed to Cape Henry Collegiate in a wide variety of ways. Whether in the classroom, performing an Outkast song at assembly, participating in multiple honor societies, or being an active member of the Global Scholars program, Serenity brings a dynamic persona, a warm and compassionate heart, and a genuine approach to all she does. As she prepares to take that spirit into the next chapter of her life at the University of Mary Washington, CHC sends her off not just with pride, but with gratitude.
