Alex has never confined himself to one lane. During his time at Cape Henry Collegiate, he followed his curiosity wherever it led, from the competitive world of robotics to the stage with chorus and the podium through Cape Henry Supreme Court. He approached each opportunity with focus and genuine interest, not for recognition but for the challenge and the chance to contribute. Whether building a better robot, crafting a legal argument or helping our community think responsibly about AI, Alex made his mark and we look forward to seeing him do the same at Virginia Tech.

From an early age as a member of our lower school, Serenity has contributed to Cape Henry Collegiate in a wide variety of ways. Whether in the classroom, performing an Outkast song at assembly, participating in multiple honor societies, or being an active member of the Global Scholars program, Serenity brings a dynamic persona, a warm and compassionate heart, and a genuine approach to all she does. As she prepares to take that spirit into the next chapter of her life at the University of Mary Washington, CHC sends her off not just with pride, but with gratitude.

Congratulations to Athlete of the Week Leylana Dininny! 🥎
“Leylana has consistently been one of the driving forces behind our team all season, and she elevated her game even further in some of the biggest moments of our year during two VISAA playoff games last week. Leylana batted .429 in those games, connecting with hits that contributed to a win over Fredericksburg Christian and applying pressure to NSA. Defensively, Leylana continued to be the backbone of our team. In both playoff games, she led the team with six total defensive chances and delivered one of the most impactful plays of our season; robbing an opposing player of a grand slam with an incredible over-the-fence catch. She also added multiple diving catches and throws home for outs at the plate that showcased both her athleticism and determination.” —Head Coach Mrs. Rebecca Stone

👨🔬🔬Scientists in 7th grade wrapped up the year with a first: frog dissection! It was a chance to connect so much of what they’ve learned this year in a hands-on, memorable way.
A big thank you to the upper school students who helped guide the process. Their patience, professionalism and encouragement made the experience even better for our younger students!
