✨🎓 Kindergarten Graduation Day 🎓✨

Every year, kindergarten graduation is special. It’s a beautiful reminder of how quickly little hands grow, little minds learn, and little hearts become ready for their next big adventure. Watching these children walk across that stage is always one of the most rewarding moments of the year.

But this year holds an extra special place in my heart. ❤️ This is the very first graduating class for my daughter, Kena. Seeing her pour her love, patience, and dedication into these children and watching them flourish under her guidance has filled me with so much pride. What an incredible milestone for her and for these sweet graduates.

At the same time, today carries a touch of bittersweet emotion. As I celebrate these precious children and Kena’s accomplishment, I can’t help but wish my mama was here to witness it all. She loved children, believed deeply in education, and would have been so proud to see another generation reaching this milestone. Her absence is felt, but her love and influence continue to shine through moments like these.

So today, we celebrate growth, achievement, new beginnings, and the memories of those who helped shape us along the way. Congratulations to our kindergarten graduates—you are ready for your next chapter, and we couldn’t be prouder. 🎉💙

May Footnote👣🌷🌺🌸 This spring, Barefoot Kids will hold our 10th Annual Art Show event on May 26, 2026 (Woodstock Park @ 5:30pm). We will be celebrating Ms. Kathi!!

As we prepare for our End-of-Year Art Show, we want to take a moment to honor someone very special to our community—my mom, Ms. Kathi.

She was such an important part of what we’ve built here, and her love continues to live on in the children, the families, and the spirit of this space.

We would love your help in celebrating her.
