Around Campus: Under the watchful eye of their EMS Instructor Damien Coy, Newport News paramedic students Andrew Hanashiro and Tammy Selby run a cardiac arrest scenario utilizing an iSimulate monitor.

“ECPI University’s EMS programs put a premium on high-quality immersive simulation to instruct and evaluate student performance. I was really lucky to lead a cohort that is about to finish their psychomotor testing soon,” said Coy. “I couldn’t have asked for better students or resources!”

Kudos to our nursing students at ECPI University’s Raleigh campus, who identified a need at Holly Hills Hospital and then organized a clothing drive for patients. Nursing is a work of heart. ❤️

: The Virginia Beach Health Sciences campus held a Red Cross blood drive last week. A mix of 20 staff, students, and community partners came together to give blood. Because of their donations at the drive, up to 48 lives could potentially be saved.

: ADN student Jennifer Sweet joined the ECPI University staff at the Veterans Health and Wellness Fair on November 19th at E. Carroll Joyner Park in Wake Forest, NC. Jennifer volunteered to provide blood pressure checks for participants.

The Raleigh campus was there to support the local veteran community and share information about ECPI University programs for those interested in pursuing career education.
