What an incredible way to start the year! 🏆
We sent our best advocates to the Hicks Thomas Moot Court National Championship, an elite competition featuring only the top 16 moot court teams in the nation and they came home CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to Elie El Habr, Diana Bloomquist, and Emily Mayers, whose dedication and countless hours of preparation over the past few months truly paid off. This achievement would not have been possible without the guidance, and support of their coach, Professor Hernandez.

We couldn’t be prouder of this outstanding team and their well-earned victory! 👏🥳🎉🙌

The Moot Court Board wants to celebrate THREE more teams that competed this semester!

We had three oral advocates—Brian Cormier, Brianna Snow, and Esther Lines—compete at the Brooklyn Law School’s 40th Annual Jerome Prince Memorial Evidence Competition. In their first-ever moot court competition, these advocates were SEMI-FINALISTS (top 4 out of 34 schools)! 🏆

Jillian Frauli and Anna Wakeling, accompanied by their brief writer Miranda Neal, participated in the 2025 IISL Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition. The team got third best brief and advanced to the QUARTERFINALS! Shoutout to Jillian for switching from a brief writer in previous competitions to an oral advocate! 🤩

Last but not least, we had our 2Ls Maddie Shupe and Hannah Waters compete in their first competition at the Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court Competition! These advocates did an exceptional job representing Regent.

More updates to come but we are incredibly proud of our phenomenal advocates! ⚖️
