What if the people we’re trying to help aren’t resistant, unmotivated, or spiritually immature? Rather, we are just using change strategies that don’t go deep enough into how the brain actually changes!
Most of us were trained to help people through truth & right thinking, insight, encouragement & positivity to downplay painful experiences, incorporate more effective behaviors, biblical instruction and practices, accountability, and coping skills for emotional management. Those can help—but they often don’t reach the deeper emotional and relational patterns that keep people stuck under stress.
That is why I’m excited to invite you to the NeuroRelational Summit 2026: Rewired by Grace, happening September 18–20 in LaFontaine/Wabash, Indiana. This Summit is for counselors, executive coaches, leaders, pastors, social workers, helping professionals, and anyone who wants to understand how people actually grow and heal.
You’ll learn cutting-edge neuroscience-informed principles like memory reconsolidation, corrective relational experiences, dyadic affect regulation, right-brain-to-right-brain attunement, evocative memories, neural narrative anchoring, response specificity, and the power of the “real” relationship.
And this will not feel like another sit-and-take-notes conference. Expect a relational, grace-filled, down-to-earth atmosphere with meaningful conversations, laughter, practical workshops, immersive skill labs, optional process groups, and experiences designed to help truth become lived—not just learned.
If you help clients, coach leaders, shepherd people, lead teams, or simply want deeper personal growth, I really encourage you to consider coming.

“Listen with the same passion with which you want to be heard.” — Harriet Lerner
Every person longs to be known, heard, and understood. We want someone to slow down, care about our story, and listen beneath the surface.
And so does the person in front of us.
Real friendship offers others the same gift we desire: presence, curiosity, patience, and care. Healing begins when our listening says, “You matter. Your story matters. I want to know you.”

Why do so many people gain insight, feel motivated, and still fall back into the same old patterns when stress hits?
Because information, effort, and behavior change by themselves often do not reach the deeper emotional and relational patterns underneath.
That is one of the big reasons we are hosting NeuroRelational Summit 2026: Rewired by Grace.
This Summit is for people who are tired of surface-level change strategies that sound good but do not hold up in real life. We want to help people see how God actually designed growth and healing to happen—through truth, grace, and relationships that reach the roots.
Join us September 18–20, 2026.
