Model criteria:
-NO PREVIOUS PMU IN THE DESIRED TREATMENT AREA.
-Must not have consumed caffeine, alcohol, or any blood thinning medications at least 24 hours before the appointment.
-Must not have consumed fish oil supplements at least 14 days before the appointment.
-Must not have used any form of retinol (prescription or over the counter) at least 6 weeks prior to the appointment.
-Must not have used any form of AHA/BHA at least 2 weeks prior to the appointment.
-Must consent to the procedure being done by students (supervised by an instructor) or instructor for initial appointment.
-Must meet any and all medical criteria required of our permanent makeup services.
-Must agree to purchase retouch appointment at regular rate.

Our next Master Licensure Course is scheduled for 2024 with the newly updated regulations. We cannot wait to share our all of our additions and modifications to this course from our previous full Master course that we launched 2 years ago. 57 graduating classes to date—another PMU graduation completed! Congrats to our new alumni! Woo hahhh!!!! 😃

This was also our first graduation where more than half of our students were not local. Students from different states, some hours and hours away—and we even had one of our students travel all the way from China! Wow! What an incredible honor! ❤️

This workshop does give you the hours needed to obtain your PMU *Master* licensure.

As of June 2, DPOR has officially mandated a huge change to all State approved PCT schools and the new requirements/regulations will go into effect on September 1st, 2023. On this date, all PMU licensure courses, both BASIC (Eyebrows, Lips, Eyeliner, SMP) and MASTER (Areola/Nipple Repigmentation, Scar and Stretchmark Camouflage, Blush, Adv. Lip, Eyeshadow) will require 200 State approved licensure hours, as opposed to the current 90 hours. The practical assignments for all of those named categories have also been updated and increased. There is also reason to believe PMU practical testing may also be added to the licensure board testing--although there is no confirmation on this, at this time. All new curriculums now have new standards that must be integrated and re-approved.

For those who have inquired about obtaining their PMU licensure but have not taken the appropriate steps to enroll into a course--this means you must enroll into a PMU course that starts before September 1st, in order to not be applicable to the newly updated hours requirements and regulations.

For those who have already obtained their licensure or have already passed your boards, at the moment, it appears you are "grandfathered in" at the previously set regulations and requirements.

If you have been interested in obtaining your Master PMU licensure, then we strongly recommend enrolling into a course as soon as possible. The Master PMU regulations will definitely increase to 200 hours but there is also reason to believe more requirements will be added than what has been communicated to us currently.

We also want to mention that not only will the hours and curriculum requirements increase, the tuition costs will also increase across the board for ALL schools to accommodate these changes.

We have added several FAST TRACK licensure courses and another MASTER licensure workshop to accommodate the demand before the regulations change, all at our current pricing, rates and hours. We strongly advise you to enroll now if you have been interested in any of these courses.
