Many students need extra-special, one-to-one tutorial assistance. Tidewater Learning Center works with individuals ages four through adult. We not only work in all subject areas, we specialize in academic therapy for individuals with learning disabilities. At TLC, we are very aware that some learning problems can be extremely difficult to diagnose and remediate. Our Director, Marie Sexton, M.Ed., is an Educational Diagnostician specializing in diagnosing learning and gifted disabilities. TLC provides comprehensive educational evaluations and one-to-one tutorial/coaching that leads to greater academic success. Students at TLC often "graduate" out of placement in the LD programs at their schools.
