If, like me, you are avoiding social media this election season so you can maintain your sanity and loving relationships with your friends, family, and neighbors, I hope you'll dip back in for a minute to watch this talk. I read "Anxious Generation" and had VERY mixed feelings about it, as a parent and as an educator. This civil, nuanced, thoughtful discourse is useful in terms of youth social media use, but also a master class in how we should be talking to each other when we disagree.
