Planks and Wednesday might not rhyme, but you still need them!

Copenhagen planks, to be specific.

Let's talk about this challenging but value movement.

Similar to a side plank, the Copenhagen elevates your feet engages your adductors to keep those feet connected on either side of the bench.

You'll improve core strength, hip stability, shoulder strength and reduce your overall injury risk.

Have you ever tried one? Did you like it? Tell us in the comments!

September 600g Fruits and Veggies Challenge Day 14 🥳

Do you love beets? You should! Here's why:

Beets for Speed🚴‍♀️❤️

Beets = Threshold Gold! 🏅💥

Packed with nitrates, beets can improve blood flow and boost your capacity for speed—perfect for helping runners go that extra mile faster! 🏃‍♂️✨

If you want to use beets to boost performance, plan to have them about 2-3 hours before your workout. This timing allows your body to convert those nitrates effectively.

Beets are especially perfect to include on threshold days as they act on our fast-twitch muscle fibers, helping you power through those tough intervals! 🌱

Blend them into a smoothie, juice them, or roast them for a sweet, earthy side dish. Don't like the taste of beets? Try them in a chew or a powder form for less....earthiness.

Have you tried beets before a run? Tell us your go-to beet recipe in the comments!

Stretchy Sunday 🥳

This week it's the Figure 4 Stretch 🏃‍♀️

Why? You'll loosen your hips, wake up your glutes, and have a better first mile.

The Figure 4 Stretch targets the glutes, outer hips, and piriformis—areas that can get tight from running and sitting.

Why runners need it:

🍑 Opens tight glutes & hips
🦵 Improves hip mobility
⚡ Helps prepare the body for running
🏃‍♀️ Great for warm-ups or recovery

How to do it:
Stand tall and cross one ankle over the opposite thigh. Sit your hips back as if you're sitting into a chair. Keep your chest lifted and your standing knee slightly bent. Hold 20–30 seconds on each side.

Figure 4 Stretch = happy hips + happier miles! 💚

Track Tuesday!🔥

Tired of running more miles but getting the same results?

Track Tuesdays aren’t just for elites, they’re the quickest way to hit your next PR, no matter what your current pace is.

Here’s what happens when you swap a regular easy run for a good old fashioned track session:

⚡ Precision Pacing: Learn what your target race pace actually feels like so you stop starting too fast (we all know that's a recipe for trouble).
⚡ Better Running Mechanics: Fast reps sharpen your stride, turnover, and make your overall more efficient.
⚡ Mental Toughness: Getting comfortable being uncomfortable pays off big time on race day.
⚡ Targeted Strength: Speed work builds stronger tendons and muscles for a more durable athlete.

The catch? Going too hard, too fast on the track is a good way to get injured. That’s where having a coach changes everything.

A personalized training plan takes the guesswork out of your splits, balances high intensity with proper recovery, and makes sure every rep serves a purpose.

👇 Want to make your speed work actually count?
